Pravah
Pravah is an organization based in New Delhi, India. Since 1993, Pravah has been working for youth development and active citizenship with the vision to building youth leadership for social change.
Pravah also provides incubation and organization development support to various youth organizations across the country. Pravah has developed a unique approach to youth development embodied by the concept of the 5th Space (also adopted by Anhad Pravah).
Anhad has received incubation support through change looms fellowship and partnered on projects like ‘Caste in Stone’ leadership programme and Youth Resource Centre
ComMutiny Youth Collective
ComMutiny – The Youth Collective (CYC) was set up in 2008 to promote the rights of young people for participation, development and leadership.
ComMutiny – The Youth Collective (CYC) is a collective of nearly 50 youth led and youth engaging organizations that work in collaboration to promote youth leadership by creating what we call ‘ 5th Spaces’ across the country. Anhad Pravah is also a member of CYC and has collaborated on campaigns like unManifesto and Samjho toh express.
Milaan Foundation
The Milaan Foundation supports Girl Icon Fellowship Programme (started in 2015). It is a 501c3 non-¬profit based out of the United States. It was started in order to create a more empowered generation of girls to change the world through education, this organization believes in the effect of amplified voices.
In 2016 The Girl Icon Fellowship Program is launched in Madhya Pradesh in partnership with Anhad Pravah.
Milaan India
Milaan was started by four passionate students from the University of Delhi with objective of promoting access to quality education in rural spaces. Since 2007 Milaan has reached out to more than 10,000 children and young people through various educational initiatives, life-skills training, employability training, youth empowerment programs, and campaigns.
Milaan India is a technical partner with Anhad Pravah for the implementation Girl Icon Fellowship program in Madhya Pradesh.
Jaivik Setu and Scientech Eco Foundation
Scientech is working to promote clean technology for sustainable development. Jaivik Setu works with several small family farmers to create a sustainable global environment, provide training and life of dignity to our local farmers as well as to promote healthy life.
Anhad pravah and Jaivik setu partner for the common cause of creating awareness among young people towards sustainable living and protecting nature by offering workshops and volunteering opportunities.
Muskaan
Muskaan is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works with vulnerable slum communities in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on issues of education, identity, violence, health and survival needs. Primary focus of the organisation is on the education of children unable to access mainstream schools. Other programs differ across slums, depending on the critical needs of the community and the capacities and resources within the organization to address them.
Muskan and Anhad Pravah has done many programs together to create cross cultural and learning opportunities for youth and adolescents from diverse section of the society.
Daly College
The Daly College is the oldest co-educational residential and day boarding school located in Indore and has long and royal history.
Once famous as school for royals, Daly college is still one of the elite schools of Madhya Pradesh though now open for all strata of society. Anhad Pravah has facilitated many learning & leadership workshops with the students of Daly college and with the international students on exchange programs.
Kabir Smarak Sewa Shodh Sansthan
In 1997, the Kabir Smarak was established in Village Luniyakhedi of Ujjain district in Madhya Pradesh with the objective to spread message of kabir through music/singing of kabir.
Kabir poetry & songs offer a great insight to understand ‘self’. Malwa Kabir Yatra, a 4-5 days musical journey of travelling to different villages becomes one such opportunity for young people to immerse themselves in the experience of kabir. Anhad Pravah has been providing volunteer support in the yatra and partner with kabir smarak to manage the event at Indore.
Indore Public School (IPS)
Indore Public School was established about 3 decades ago in 1987 and is till date involved in discharging premium quality education to its students. School offers diverse exposure to its students through sports, extracurricular activities and learning workshops/events.
Anhad Pravah has offered diverse learning opportunities to the students of IPS through workshops and campaigns. The most important and sustained being the leadership interventions with the students’ council.
Government Urdu School
Govt Urdu School, Hathipala is located in an area where accessibility of education was a rare opportunity. It is a higher secondary school with the strength of 200 girls. It is the only school in Madhya Pradesh that offers education in 3 mediums i.e. Urdu, Hindi and English.
It was Samjho Toh Express (a campaign to promote cross border friendships) that made Anhad Pravah and Govt Urdu school partner. Since then Anhad Pravah has offered multiple learning opportunities to the girls to build their confidence and leadership.
School of Journalism and Mass Communication
The School of Journalism and Mass Communication was established in 1986 under the aegis of the University Grant Commission. The school offers full time Bachelors Course in Journalism and Mass Communication as well as master’s courses.
When Anhad Pravah started working with different departments of Devi Ahilya University, Khandwa Road, SJMC provided space and support for organising soft skill development workshops for students.
Anhad has designed and facilitated a special course on leadership development for the media students.
School of Social Science
In 1989 started as school of liberal studies, in 2008 it became School Of Social Science. They offer courses like MSW, M.Phil in 8 subjects like history, geography, political science, Sociology, social work, home science, psychology and music. This is also the established research centre of DAVV for social science subjects and offer Ph.D. course work.
Anhad pravah sent 10 students from MSW on a month long Rural Internship in 2016. Department also send its students for field placements to Anhad Pravah. In addition students of Social Science department also volunteers with Anhad to manage indore event of Malwa Kabir Yatra.
Vijayant Scout Group
Vijayant scout group is an independent group affiliated to Bharat Scout & Guide. One of the first partner with whom Anhad worked in Indore. Facilitating adventure camp to plantation drive, every year we partner to provide newer learning opportunities for young people in the scout group and to volunteers at Anhad pravah.
